Japanese antiques

Over the water, directly from Japan, comes a genuine and diverse collection of 19th and 20th century furniture.

The subtle beauty and depth of Japanese Tansu mixes with Indochine's Chinese, Burmese British Colonial, and contemporary home furnishings to present a unique and welcoming look for your home.

The current Japanese shipment consists of large, medium and small pieces. There are step tansu, clothing chests, tea tansu, futon cabinets, mizuya kitchen chests, screens, doors, wall transoms, sewing boxes, vanity mirrors, old shoes and sake bottles, hibachi, iron kettles and dishes.

Kiri, Cedar, Keyaki, Elmwood, Hanga, Kyodai woods are used in these rare antique pieces.

Many pieces have been partially restored but some are still in their natural condition.
